The DeskLot Enterprise Version supports unlimited number of independent automobile dealership inventory accounts so that you may manage separate inventory for as many used-car dealerships as you like all from within one software package. This is particularly useful for persons wanting to start a automobile window sticker printing business.

Sets settings such as the login name used for images and databases as well as for a WalkTheLot.com account if you use one. The settings are also available for exporting to other services. Each account has it's own vehicle inventory database so that you can keep things separate and easily manageable.

The main screen in DeskLot contains your complete listing of vehicles for the account. You can sort the list, size columns, check vehicles to print, delete, print in the inventory report, publish, export and much more. This makes it easy to process multiple vehicles in batch mode such as you would when printing stickers. Easily print all "unprinted" vehicles by clicking one check box and clicking print. To edit a vehicle, simply double-click it.

Used or new car adding and editing is fast and convenient with many time-saving functions and features added. Add vehicle options such as Leather Seats, Sun Roof, etc... to the global list of options which are available to all accounts and cars, and they're there for good, and for all inventory accounts. Then simply check the options you want for the list of options and click one button and whallah!

Many automobile fields have pull-down lists allowing you to select from data you have already entered such as Make, Model, Engine, Transmission, etc... saving you time from re-typing common data. You can even save a ton of time when entering similar cars by using the copy function and/or optional VIN decoding.

Add up to 25 photo's for each vehicle in your inventory. It's as simple as double-clicking and browsing your hard drive for the photo's location.

Unfortunately, in the used-car business, there is little information available from the manufacturer about an automobile after it's initial sale. Get a batch of new cars in and they are all the same except for the stock number and maybe a few options such as color? Save valuable time with the DeskLot Car Copy Function! When adding a vehicle, just enter the Stock Number and then click the Copy icon, select an existing from the list, and click copy! It will even copy the photo's for you! Then all you have to do is change any options that might be unique to that such as color or engine size.

What is "sticker text"? One feature of DeskLot is the ability to put a field called "sticker text" on your stickers. Then, for each individual vehicle you can enter some unique sales oriented data to help sell the vehicle such as "One Owner, Low Mileage", "Great School Car", "Close Out Special", etc.

Many times you use standard lines for this type of data, so we included the quick sticker text function that lets you select existing text that is currently used for other vehicles.

Screen space is precious as in any program but there are few things worse than having a ton of typing to do and being restricted to some dinky little box where you can't see but a line or two. In DeskLot, most places where larger amounts of text would be, can be double-clicked for a zoom window that gives you maximum screen size. For example, in the vehicle edit screen when you want to edit or view the features and options installed on the vehicle, just double-click in the window if you need more space.

Configure DeskLot options such as no more reminders about connecting to the Internet, setup a multi-uses database location so that more than one copy of DeskLot can access the same data, configure custom sized window sticker and report printing paper sizes, select U.S. or U.K. currency, warn when your vehicle options are more than what will fit on a sticker and set VIN Exploding / Decoding options.

You never know when an accident will happen. Keep your data safe by periodically backing it up within a ZIP file in a folder on your hard drive or other location. DeskLot can even be configured to automatically backup once a week just in case you forget to. When restoring data is needed, simply use a ZIP utility such as WinZip to open the archive file and restore the file(s) you need.

Print a customizable report of all vehicle's entered in your dealership's inventory at any time. Select which columns to include on the report, what order, what to sort by, limit criteria, and much more. A great report to take out on the car lot with you to reconcile inventory with.

Once you have created a Data Transfer Configuration, let's say for example to publish your data via FTP to an inventory service or pehaps to do an import or publish your inventory to the Internet, whenever you want to publish or import the data again, just select it from the main menu and click Process.

DeskLot lets you define virtually an unlimited number of data transfer configurations so that you may create one for each unique need.

Perhaps one is an ASCII/CSV export to dump data on an FTP server for another service that displays your inventory on the Internet. Another to export to a local file for management to use in Excel. One to pull data in from a DMS export or system such as Chrome Inventory Everywhere?. Yet another to publish your inventory to your website, and more. You can even have any given DTC set to run each time you open or exit DeskLot, making it convenient and sure that you remembered to publish your data.

You can easily copy DTC's to save you time or for backup purposes. For example, let's say that you want to create another configuration to dump your vehicle data out to an inventory service but this one is for a different dealership. Just copy it to a new name, change a few parameters if you need to, such as an Account ID number, and you just saved a TON of time by not having to re-create it from scratch.

Chances are, most dealers will never need to use some of the flexibility we build in, such as the ability to change most mappings of where decoded vehicle data goes in the vehicle record but, we do it anyway because we want you to have flexibility and to be in control.
